Correction and Update:

  1. In this episode, I said there had been 17 opinions so far in argued cases and 45 more expected by the end of June.  This was an error; the correct numbers are 20 opinions in argued cases and 42 more expected by June.
  2. On Thursday afternoon, the Court’s Public Information Officer stated that Justice Sotomayor’s shoulder injury was worse than initially believed.  As a result, the Justice will reduce her upcoming travel, but she is not expected to miss oral arguments.
